Statikkorrektion en helt ny behandling for patienter med dårlig ryg og smerter i ben og skulderåg.
Statikkorrektion betyder en omlægning af kroppens balanceforhold, således at mekanikkens fysiske grundlove bliver overholdt .Disse meget vigtige naturlove er afdækket og beskrevet af den store engelske fysiker Isac Newton i slutningen af 16-hundredtallet.
Bygger man en konstruktion eller maskine skal disse love overholdes. Statikkorektion bunder i en ny og uvant analyse af den menneskelige krop. Denne opfattes, hvad bevægelser og belastninger angår, på linie med en konstruktion eller bygningsværk og er som sådan underkastet statikkens grundlove. Statikken er læren om legemer i balance.
Rationalet for at korrigere statikken beror på en iagttagelse, jeg gjorde i 1974, at alle patienter med smerter i nakke, ryg eller ben gennmført ikke overholdt mekanikens grundlove. Det mest iøjnefaldende var en bagudforskudt belastningsakse med tilsvarende tyngdepunktsbagudforskydning, således at personerne blev påvirket af et bagudrettet drejningsmoment.
Statikken forlanger "at partialtyngdepunkterne sammenfalder med belastningsaksen", og "at det samlede tyngdepunkt bestemmer en ønsket bevægelses retning og placering". Det menneskelige tyngdepunkt er beliggende foran øverste kant af korsbenet, hvilket i vandret plan modsvarer nederste navlekrans. Personen vil således være påvirket af et fremadrettet drejningsmoment.
Alle led i kroppen er under fuld afspænding ( eks: frithængende ben) bøjede 15`: Reflexpositionen! Ser man nøjere på fødderne vil man iagttage, at ydre fodbue står lavere end indre samt at fødderne ikke er platte. Dette er fodens reelle facon og den må ikke ændres under gang, stand eller anden form for aktivitet. Denne iagttagelse indikerer at ydre fodbue er både stand- og gangbue. Da lodlinien skærer ydre fodbue på højeste sted, hvor også "griberefleksen" er beliggende, er det en nærliggende tanke at gangen utvungent kan opfattes som " en kæde af greb ".
Jordens tyngdekraft vil i løbet af livsprocessen få os gjort mere og mere krum- og skævryggede samtidigt med at vi bliver tiltagende fladbrystede og mavesvære. Statikken indebærer også, at "ydre form skal holdes" og kan derfor ikke godtage nogen form for sammenfald. Begrebet: appoggio, kendt fra klassisk sangkunst, kan i et snubtag ophæve disse sammenfald. Appoggio betyder " lænen op imod" og kan funktionelt oversættes med : trykballon, hvor det er luften inde i ballonen, som " læner sig imod " gummiet. Hvis vi spænder vores krop op fra skridt til strube, vil de sammenpressede indvolde presses op imod navleregion og således "appoggioere mod bugvæg. Denne udadgående følelse skal fornemmes mest udtalt netop i området omkring navle, og den skal være så kraftig, at " ballonen" holdes udspilet fra bund til top (jfr. sangeropspænding). Bøje- og rotationsbevægelser i halsen vil efterfølgende kun foregå i tre øverste halshvirvler. "Ballonen" har en nederste pol: vagina/prostata og en øverste: strube. Nederste pol skal altid være bundstøttenfor torsoen, hvadenten man går, løfter eller sidder (arbejds- og hvilestilling). Den synlige virkning af appoggioet er en atletisk krop med vedvarende indtrukket bug og bækkenbund, rank ryg og atletisk brystkasse. Et meget skånsomt og effektivt åndræt kan indlæres i takt med opbygningen af et passende stærkt appoggio. Med daglige seje øvelser vil det tage tre- fire uger at habitualisere og opbygge dette vidunderlige hjælpemiddel.
Under løft og bæren er appoggioet langt det sikreste middel til at stabilisere og beskytte rygsøjlen (jfr. vægtløfteropspænding).
Statikkorrektion tager højde for alle disse ting og i tæt samarbejde med patient vil overholdelse af Newtons love sikre et tilfredsstillende resultat både akut og på sigt.

"Painless with static-correction" in a popular way
Static-correction is the name of a new treatment based on the physics laws of Sir Isaac Newton. It has proved its efficiency in more than 10.000 patients with pains in their backs or legs who have seen definite improvements or been cured. The rationale is that 80% of all people, and 100% of the patients in question, are shifting their centre of gravity backwards, not observing Newton’s laws.
Non-effective treatments: The mounting number of damaged backs has led to various "back-schools" and special treatments, mostly financed by official money and often with unsatisfactory results. It is a widespread consensus: primarily the therapists are benefiting.
Do not ignore the basic laws of nature: In a quite new approach to back problems, static-correction utilizes Newton’s laws of mass, power and gravity, which we know so well from architecture. Static-correction builds up our own bodies according to the same laws. In a new way of analysing the human body, the body is considered a construction in it self. The results of this very specific treatment are in many ways as sure and as reliable as the laws of Newton.
Static-correction includes that the partial points of gravity within the patient’s body are in a longitudinal line--whether standing, walking or sitting--cutting the centre of the outer arch of the foot (grip-reflex). Walking is considered a chain of "grips". The natural exterior form of your trunk and legs ("the form is constant") will be intact in consequence of: 1. continually observed reflex positions (i.e. no joint is ever stretched more than 15`s of flexion); and 2. the appoggio (i.e. a constant active tension of your whole trunk with onset in your abdominal wall), which will enable you to transform, so to speak, your trunk (from groin to throat) into a very strong balloon. This tension must be held constantly during the day and through activities except when sleeping. When standing, walking, working, sitting (repose or work position), making a speech, dancing etc., we also maintain this tension! The balloon has two poles: the throat is the upper; and the middle of the groin (vagina/prostate) is the lower. It is important to realize that the lower pole is not the "sitting-bones" (the ischial bones)! In spite of what most people expect (with the abdominal wall in and chest out) it is possible to train comfortable techniques of breathing (compare dancers and singers) with the abdomen constantly pulled in and the chest protruding. You will learn to use the navel area as a sort of “mouth” and “lung”, trough which inhalation as well as exhalation takes place. The balloon provides you with a beautiful corset look and super strong surface, and your more or less curved back will be nicely erected from sacral bone to throat level. According to Newton’s laws you have to move in exactly the same way as you would in a pool with water to the chin, i.e., you always move against a certain resistance and always feel a similar pressure from behind. In other words you move like a tightrope walker.

Personal contribution. One must realize and appropriate the system. It is necessary to exercise the appoggio with 20-30 heavy reps daily: belly in and out! incorporating bottom of the pelvis up and down; and chest out and in! You will see the spine erecting. It will normally take 3-4 weeks to obtain the necessary muscular strength needed to get the appropriate appoggio. The breathing is "sensed" only through the navel area, and you must obtain the feeling that "the lungs are placed inside the navel" (sounds silly, but it is correct!). The positive resultants will be apparent from the very beginning of the treatment. The Italian word appoggiare means "lean on". This concept is well known from the art of singing, where the air pressure is always "going out" from the solar plexus. The subjective feeling must be a "constant leaning on the navel area"--in other words you must "feel out" in this region, although the navel region is, as a matter of fact, constantly in (the athletic look)! It is the pressure of the compressed intestines against the abdominal wall which impose the outward feeling.
The techniques of speaking and singing: The appoggio and its breathing technique are basic rules for all sound singing and speaking. In studying what many great singers have unveiled regarding their technique, it has been possible in this book to uncover many valuable pieces of information regarding the riddle of vocal technique. The correct way of breathing is in crude contrast to what is advocated in lung clinics and hospitals.
No medicaments With static-correction you can reduce and often stop medicinal intake.
The future Static-correction is a very inexpensive and durable treatment. It should be considered in every course of treatment. The patients have considerable responsibility for their own life and welfare. No side effects have ever been observed. A healthy person will feel stronger, with more stamina and endurance.
